AF Security is the one stop shop for all your access control requirements for installation, support and continuing maintenance of automatic gates and CCTV for residential, commercial and school properties. We select the most reliable manufacturers' products - and avoid cheap imports - so that you can be assured of a professional system which won't let you down.

By favouring a select few of the industry's top manufacturers we can guarantee that we know our products and have the backup that comes as part of the service. AF Security offer straightforward maintenance contracts with no onerous long-term commitments. We rely on our high level of customer service to ensure that our customers have no hesitation in requesting continued cover on the anniversary of the contract.

In keeping with our one-stop shop philosophy, we have developed a highly skilled team to ensure that our customers receive the optimum package. Our staff can undertake all ground works and the associated electrical installation, complying with the IEE Regulations (BS7671).
Services
Trading since 1989, AF Security has an established customer base for installations of their access control equipment and CCTV in the Kent, Sussex and Surrey area, as well as a number of contracts further afield.
We use tried and tested products from long-established manufacturers to ensure that our installations are fit for purpose, safe and reliable.
For a CCTV installation it's necessary to determine a budget as it's possible to buy a DIY 4-camera system for a few hundred pounds or a top-spec security CCTV product where just the storage server (recorder) has a cost of several thousand pounds - before adding in any cameras.
Hikvision, an entry-level system which has a tremendous range of capability for a budget cost;.
Axis, a long-established manufacturer with a reasonably priced, well designed and robust, professional range of solutions;.
Many domestic customers desire the convenience and security of automated gates onto their property.
A closed gate is a disincentive to a casual, uninvited visitor.
Access control by means of an intercom means that our customers can vet a visitor at the gate, rather than at the front door.
Mostly we install intercoms that call your mobile 'phone so that you can let someone in from wherever you are, even if you are at the bottom of the garden or maybe not even at home.
More than ever Commercial organisations need to know who is on their premises and when.
Access control of the movement of individuals can be as simple as a keypad, a hard-wired intercom to your receptionist or perhaps with a carefully controlled distribution of pass cards.
For high security environments there are biometric readers with fingerprint readers, iris scanners or face recognition.
ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) combined with CCTV can be used to control and verify the access of vehicles - and even the condition of those vehicle - arriving and departing the premises; a system which has saved airport car parking areas huge amounts against false damage claims.
Schools especially have a "duty of care" over their pupils and staff.
To meet this requirement the perimeter of the school grounds should be fenced securely and all access points - both for vehicles and for pedestrians - to be properly controlled to ensure entrance only for authorised persons.
I have used AF security for many years at two different school sites.
They have carried out works, and installations on our fencing, intercoms and proximity card readers.
Very reliable, friendly, and trustworthy, and always try to help keep jobs within the school's budget.
